Beschreibung:

Having created one of the greatest big-bore sports bikes of modern times in the form of the mighty GSX-R1100, Suzuki looked around for other ways to exploit the 125bhp engine of this paragon of high performance. The result was the GSX1100F sports-tourer and the GSX1100G ‘naked’ roadster, both of which used the bullet-proof air/oil-cooled motor. Long, tall and somewhat on the heavy side at 631lbs, the luxurious, shaft-driven ‘G’ was nevertheless no slouch, being capable of 11.3-second quarter-miles and a top whack in excess of 140mph, if you could bear to hang on at that speed. Equipped with a screen and luggage, like the example offered here, the GSX1100G makes a very capable long-distance tourer. Acquired for the Museum in 2002, this GSX1100G displays a total of 76,229 kilometres (approximately 47,300 miles) on the odometer. The machine is offered with Austrian Typenschein and assorted other documentation.
