Beschreibung:

The approach by Jawa to that section of the market between lightweight motorcycles and mopeds was utterly sound. With the politicos in Praque clamouring for safe, small capacity, low cost, mass commuting machines, and red-blooded Czech teenagers coveting sporty transport, the Roadster 90 just about met everyone’s requirement, knowing how the tooling costs of any new model bore no relation to the return on sales! Utilising a rotary valve motor mounted in a sturdy spine frame – and with tastefully scalloped fuel tank – the Roadster’s performance and peppy exhaust note had definite appeal to youngsters, while diehards could still nod approval concerning the long travel forks, an efficient air cleaner, and a fully enclosed maintenance-free chain. Purchased in 1992 the Jawa has matching engine/frame numbers, and is offered with Czech Model Certificate.
