Beschreibung:

During WW2 the engineers at Jawa’s Prague factory took time out from war work to design a new 250cc engine for the anticipated post-war liberation. Before communism began to restrict development in the late ’forties, this became the basis for the later model range. Imported into the UK in small numbers, owing to import tax barriers, the robust and economical Jawas were well-regarded by their owners. This 175cc twin-port single, with Jawa’s characteristic ‘clean’ design, is in very good and completely original condition, with all of the enclosure panels present. Said to be in good running order, it is equipped with a single-wheel camping trailer, of a type often seen in Europe but which became legal only recently in the UK. Following the normal checks needed, after museum display since 1993, this outfit should fit easily into the growing interest in vintage camping. The machine is offered with Austrian registration document.
