Albert Roder's ahead-of-its-time quarter litre Max, which was in production for barely four years - and which, inter alia, incorporated his revolutionary-design Ultramax valve system - is clearly one of the most significant machines of all time. Purchased in 1996 in a roadworthy condition, the un-restored example is offered with Zollausweispapiere.
