The copy at TPL is described similarly to the present: "This copy [of Wolfe's Instructions ] is no.4 in a set of 6 pamphlets on the art of war, 1766-1770 [here 1771]." The TPL copy further includes a frontispiece portrait of Wolfe. Spaulding and Karpinski 291 ("A compilation of six [i.e. seven] separate works, undoubtedly remainders, by Major William Young and his edition of Wolfe's Instructions , under a general title, all with separate title pages and pagination, as in the originals, published by J. Millan in 1770, 1766, 1770, 1768, 1766, 1767 and 1771 respectively. There is some variation between the titles as cited on the general title and those on the individual title pages.")
