(30.5 X 15.5cm.) Six collectors' seals, including two of Wang Cong (1494-1533) One colophon by Chen Hongshou (1768-1822) The Shanghai Museum collection holds a Southern Song dynasty copy of the Zhengzuowei tie made before the character chu was broken. According to Zhang Yensheng, author of the book, A Collection of Rare Books and Rubbings, there are no Northern Song dynasty copies of this rubbing with the character you in existence. The Tieqin Tongjian Lou Collection contains a Northern Song copy with a complete "you", but it is missing one page. Therefore this copy, which has both chu and you intact, is the earliest complete example of the Zhengzuowei tie known.
