Author Dr. Treadway Russell Nash to James Ross of Worcester 1784" to head of endpapers, engraved vignette titles for first and second editions, extra-illustrated with c.130 engraved and mezzotint views, plans, portraits etc. in total, numerous engraved illustrations, folding pedigrees, numerous ink notes by Ross to text margins and initialled pencil notes by Ross to plate margins, 1f. autograph notes by Ross loosely inserted, occasional light spotting or offsetting, 20th century morocco, gilt, joints rubbed, uncut, 1781-99; and 2 others,12pp. bound autograph notes and corrections by Ross and the 1895 Index relating to the same, folio (4) ⁂ James Ross of Worcester (1746-1831) engraved many of the views that appear in Nash's work.
