Boys' book on baseball credited to the great New York Giants right-hander, winner of 373 games (tied for third on the all-time), and one of the "First Five" players inducted into the Hall of Fame, in 1936. Mathewson was mid-way through his career when this book was written (he went 27-9 in 1910 with an ERA of 1.89), so how much he contributed to the actual writing is up for conjecture; nonetheless, a rare baseball book, signed by one of the all time greats.
