Introductory text by Paul Morand commentaries by CharlesAlbert Cingria, 5 full page illustrations and 30 engraved plates, 1 gravure ("Mon portrait no 3") boldly signed in black ink in lower margin "18 Oct. 1928. Foujita a Paris" and additional text in Japanese. Issued in an edition of 660 copies, this being number 132. Worn original covers with large portions of the spine missing, a couple of small stains on cover and a couple of pages with small stains in margin not affecting text, binding somewhat loose and 2 leaves (including the signed gravure) detached. 1 page with a paragraph of text marked "OBS" (=nota bene) in pencil. Front fly leaf with owners signature of Knut Stubbendorff, probably Knut Bertil Stubbendorff (1893-1965), Swedish journalist and translator. Together with 8 original photographs depicting Foujita and artwork, 3 of the photographs of Foujita and what appear to be his wife, the famous Parisian model and artist, Fernande Barrey. 1 photograph stamped "Information Ilustrées. A. Harlingue. 6, Rue Sevestre. Paris" and 2 stamped "Photo 'Sonia'. 3, Place Malesherbes Paris 17e", the rest unmarked. Some of the photographs with stains on the rear side. Also with 1 gallery invitation card and 1 advertising card for the bar "La Cigogne" in Montparnasse.
