.38-55, 20" round barrel with full magazine, S/N 960836 (mfg. ca 1925). Blued finish, straight gripped walnut stock with carbine buttplate, plain forend with single barrel band. Folding ladder rear sight, pinned blade front sight, saddle ring. Very rare caliber for a SRC. Condition: Good to very good. Retains some thinning blued finish, the rest a dull gray patina with some scattered freckles of surface oxidation. All markings crisp and clear, mechanically functional, very good, lightly frosted bore with some light pitting near the muzzle. Stock with nicks and dings.
