WILDE'S INTRODUCTION TO THE GREAT LECTURE CIRCUIT IMPRESARIO, ON BEHALF OF A FUTURE ENGLISH SUFFRAGETTE. "Let me introduce to you Miss Romola Tynte, who has made a great success as a reciter in England. I trust she will have an equal success in the States. I have no doubt she will do so, should she have the benefit of your management and advice." Wilde availaed himself of Pond's services during his very successful U.S. lecture tour in January - March 1882. Tynte would go on to be a participant in the suffrage movement of the 1890s.
