The hinged lid engraved at the centre '1888' and with an applied serrated oval band inscribed 'William Banwell Burnham Somerset', the base inscribed 'A present from Garw Valley', 2cm high, 7.25cm wide overall (3/4 x 2 7/8th inches) Note; Mr Banwell was an engine driver on the Garw Valley Railway in mid Wales when this was given as a gift in 1888.
