.442 Webley caliber, 4.5" barrel, S/N 12662. Blued finish, checkered walnut grips. Double action, solid fame, 6-shot revolvers with hinged loading gate and concealed ejector rod in cylinder arbor pin. Grooved topstrap marked ARMY & NAVY CO-OPERATIVE on one side of the groove and SOCIETY LONDON on the other side. Left side of frame, forward of cylinder marked with the winged bullet Webley logo, the serial number and the two line WEBLEY PATENT cartouche. Rear of cylinder numbered with the last three digits of the serial number 662, edge of loading gate simply numbered "2." Lanyard ring in butt. Includes an old tag noting the gun is from the estate collection of Henry A. Day of Exeter, NH. Condition: Good. Retains much of the blue on the cylinder, with traces of the barrel and frame. Metal shows some scattered surface oxidation and roughness, along with some flecks of pitting. Mechanically functional, good bore with scattered oxidation and some light pitting. Grip very good with crisp checkering and some scattered handgun marks and minor mars.
