First and second series only (of 3), 2° (447 x 320mm). 79 hand-coloured lithographic plates. (Small tear to margin of title of second volume, occasional light soiling to first volume.) Original green cloth, g.e. (stitching of first volume weak with a few leaves loosely inserted as a result.) Provenance : J. Mitchell (signature in first volume). A FINE SET. A third series with an additional 39 plates was published between 1877 and 1891. Nissen BBI 2108; Great Flower Books p. 80. (2)
