Carved Alabaster Devotional Tablet in Inlaid Wall Hanging Cabinet. The relief carved religious tablet measures 21.5 in. high x 11.5 in. wide with winged saints surrounding a central crucifix with polychrome highlights. In a walnut wall hanging cabinet with inlaid gothic shapes and filigree, carved top, robed figures in the 2 door panels and overhanging cornice top; interior with hand wrought iron hinges and painted white and gold floral urn panels on the reverse of the doors. Cabinet is in good overall condition with 1 missing piece of inlay and an old overcoated finish, has working lock and key; tablet has a few minor chips and shows some wear to the polychrome surface. 29.5 in. high x 23 in. wide x 5.5 in. deep.
