Dak. 1891," showing a horse-drawn wagon stopped on a dirt-covered road in the center of town, portion of Cross' handstamp visible on verso; "Freighting Teams, Rapid City, Black Hills, S.D. on F.E. & M.V. R'y.," with Cross' imprint on mount below image; "No. 878. Minnekahta Block, Hot Springs, Black Hills, South Dakota," no studio imprint. Condition: "Lower (?) Town Hot Springs So.
