Öl/Holz, parkettiert. Rechts unten auf den Steinplatten monogrammiert "HS", den Initialen für sein Pseudonym Henricus Satrapitanus und dat. "1518". 49 x 38,5 cm. - Kleines Löchlein oben. - 1931 wurde das Gemälde im Münchner Kunsthandel als Lucas Cranach erworben und befand sich seitdem in fränkischer Privatsammlung. // Vogtherr, Henry the Elder. — Adoration of the Child Jesus by the Magi (Dillingen an der Donau 1490-1556 Vienna) Madonna with Child in the centre in front of a ruined stable, surrounded by the three finely robed and richly decorated Magi, in the background landscape view with a rock castle on the right. Oil on craddled panel. Monogrammed ''HS'' lower right on the stone panels, the initials for his pseudonym Henricus Satrapitanus and dated ''1518''. 49 x 38.5 cm. - Very small hole above. - In 1931 the painting was acquired in the Munich art trade as a Lucas Cranach and has since been in a Franconian private collection.
