(Title lightly soiled, old marginal repair to *4, a few scattered spots, but generally crisp.) 18th-century Italian sheep (spine worn and split along joints, rubbed). Provenance : "C.W.G.V.N." (armorial bookplate, ink signature on title). Third edition in Italian. "A reprint of the edition of Venice, 1567, with reworked plates.
