In 1979, as Tel Aviv celebrated its 70th anniversary, Yoni Rechter was commissioned to compose the score for a dance spectacle by "Inbal" dance group, telling the story of Tel Aviv since its establishment in 1909. For Rechter, this was his first ever commissioned work. The soundtrack was mostly instrumental, but featured several songs, including the original version of Nama Yafo, as well as Yaldei HaHefker and HaYeled Nissim, both recorded later by Einstein.
