Viking Silver Belt Mount Set 10th century AD A group of silver belt fittings comprising: a buckle with double loop; strap end with reserved foliage detailing; nine plaques each with crouching animal motif, slot to the lower edge; nine plaques with profile lion(?) motif, tag to the lower edge; eight smaller rosette plaques. 50.6 grams total, 11-16mm (1/4 - 1/2").
