[VIERGE] - DE QUEVEDO, Francisco - Pablo de Segovie [con illustrazioni di Daniel Vierge]. Paris: Pelletan e Vierge, 1902. Copy n. 258 of 455 signed by the illustrator of this fine work in dark half morocco decorated in gilt by Marot-Rodde with an original pen sketch by the illustrator inserted. 4to (323 x 254mm). Etched portrait as frontispiece, title in red and black, numerous illustrations at the beginning and end of chapters, 3 plates outside the text, a suite of 4 unpublished watercolour illustrations at the end in double state (some browning). Half morocco by Marot-Rodde, fine decorated endpapers, editoriale wrappers preserved. The lot also includes Le Cabaret des Trois Vertus by SAINT-JUIRS (Paris: L. Baschet) with another original illustration by Daniele Vierge. Copy n. 11 on China (some spotting). Editorial wrappers. Provenance: Juan Hernandez (bookplate). (2)
