Superb Victorian Etruscan-revival double ram's head gold and diamond bracelet with garnet eyes and original signed and fitted case. Dating from the second half of the 19th century. Case marked "L. Holtbuer Hoflieferant Sr. Hoheit des Herzogs von Sachsen Meiningen, Leipzig" in gold with coat of arms. Translates to "L. Holtbuer, purveyor to the court Sr. Highness of the Duke of Saxony, Meiningen, Leipzig". One near-colorless antique European cut diamond measuring approximately 3.5mm in diameter. Bracelet measures 2.75" across by 2.5" tall. Unknown oval hallmark on underside of bracelet near clasp. Tested at clasp to be a minimum of 14k gold. Wonderful toning and patina throughout. Bracelet width is 8mm. Each ram's head measures 15mm wide, 24mm long, and 13mm tall. Garnet eyes, 3 cabochon, 1 rose-cut. Gross weight 30.5 grams. Condition: (Excellent).
