Manuscrit autographe de René Char illustré de dessins originaux de Victor Brauner In-folio (323 x 257 mm). 10 bifeuillets. Broché. Chemise en maroquin havane à encadrement, plat de vélin avec titre doré, étui (P.-L. Martin).
20 pages rehaussées de dessins originaux de Brauner (crayon, aquarelle sur papier), 8 pages calligraphiées par René Char à l’encre noire. Brauner a apposé son nom sur la couverture et à la justification.
Tous différents, Brauner a enluminé 13 exemplaires des Quatre fascinants. Exemplaire n° 5, avec cette justification autographe de René Char, contresignée par Victor Brauner :"à la mainen tout 13 exemplairesnumérotés de 1 à 13sur Papier des Moulins du Val de Laga.Exemplaire No 5.René CharVictor Brauner24 avril 1950."
Dédicace autographe de René Char à Yvonne Zervos. Fondatrice de la galerie Cahiers d'art (1932-1970), Yvonne Zervos a consacré plusieurs expositions à Victor Brauner en 1947 avec Yves Tanguy puis seul en 1950, 1952, 1955 et 1961. Intermédiaire entre René Char et les artistes, elle est la dédicataire des manuscrits enluminés.

20 pages enhanced with original drawings by Brauner (pencil, watercolor on paper), 8 pages calligraphed by René Char in black ink. Brauner has placed his name on the cover and in the justification.
All different, Brauner illuminated 13 copies of theQuatre fascinants. Copy No. 5, with this handwritten justification by René Char, countersigned by Victor Brauner "by handin all 13 copiesnumbered from 1 to 13on Paper from the Mills of Val de Laga.Copy No. 5.René CharVictor BraunerApril 24, 1950."
Autographed dedication by René Char to Yvonne Zervos. The founder of the Cahiers d'art gallery (1932-1970), Yvonne Zervos devoted several exhibitions to Victor Brauner in 1947 with Yves Tanguy then alone in 1950, 1952, 1955, and 1961. As an intermediary between René Char and the artists, she is the dedicatee of the illuminated manuscripts.
