It rotates like a Ferris wheel and was originally given out as a premium by the Wabash Gum Co., Chicago, Illinois. It comes with an original flyer, showing the Ferris wheel postcard display. For $75, you would receive a carton of high-grade chewing gum and you would receive 200 high-grade souvenir postcards, including the famous Ferris wheel postcard display. It is quite likely that this Ferris wheel mimics the Ferris wheel on Navy Pier in Chicago. There are areas of paint loss and some oxidation to the display. It would look beautiful full of antique postcards and it holds both vertical and horizontal format postcards.
