Although many different posters were created to advertise the New York World's Fair (including those of railroad companies, shipping companies and various pavilions and exhibitors), there were only three official posters published by the New York World's Fair Corporation, the committee responsible for organizing and staging the fair. These posters were printed in three different sizes, of which these are the largest. Includes the 1939 World's Fair posters by Joseph Binder John Atherton and Albert Staehle World's Fair cover and p. 218 and 219, Weill 427, Resnick 31, The Poster 304, Affiche Art Deco p. 116, Crouse p. 108.
