Remington's Patent dates appear on the upper tang. Remnants of an inspector's cartouche appear on the left of the stock. Walnut stock with cleaning rod, U.S. marked buttplate, reproduction leather sling and hood front sight fitting over the barrel. The stock has a skull and bones carving in the right side of the butt, and the initials E.W. in the left. Condition: The barrel has a faded grey patina. The frame and hammer have a mostly grey patina, with some case colors in protected areas. The stock has been refinished. Good bore and action.
