On page 517 and 611 of Volume V, and page 444 of Volume VI, there are reports of Daguerre's new method of "photogenic drawing," some of the earliest references to the invention of photography in the American press. Both volumes contain the nameplate and blindstamp of the the Haverhill Public Library. Condition: Shelf wear.
