8x52mmR. 29.5" barrel length. SN: 37620. Blued metal finish with polished internals and one-piece laminated wood stock; comes with Type 45 Bayonet with scabbard. Bolt-action internal-magazine fed repeating rifle with adjustable tangent rear and front blade sights mounted in semi-pistol grip laminated wood stock. Item features a sliding Type 35 pattern dustcover and sideways swinging hatch to buttplate. Rear sight base has no surviving range markings on flanks and receiver lacks the Siamese seal to top of breech or other Siamese acceptance marks. Left receiver features Japanese Koshikawa Arsenal stamp. Bayonet comes with metal scabbard and shows Siamese marks to ricasso. Item comes with cleaning rod but lacks sight and muzzle covers. Condition: Good. Bore is very bright with strong rifling. Metal finish is thinning overall with surviving markings showing clear weakness. Some mars and dings to tang along with possible crack running across tang within cutout for bolt to travel. Wood furniture shows handling wear and mars and dings overall. Bayonet grip scales are worn with signs of wastage to left scale. Scabbard is a brown patina while a thin blue remains to guard and pommel. Blade is a mottled gray patina without mars or dings to edge.
