TWO SEVRES (LATER-DECORATED) PORCELAIN BOTTLE COOLERS THE PORCELAIN 18TH CENTURY SOFT PASTE, THE DECORATION OF LATER DATE, SPURIOUS BLUE INTERLACED L'S MARK TO BOTH, SPURIOUS DATE LETTER R FOR 1770 AND PAINTER'S MARK FOR MEREAUD TO ONE Each of cylindrical form with rounded lower portion on short foot, with shell scroll bracket handles, one side with a spray of cornflowers, the other with roses, each reserved within chased gilt bands on the wide turquoise border further gilt with bull rushes and a beaded band, the lower portion with a narrow band of faux 'pearls' on a carmine ribbon edged in gilt 7 in.
