Light tarnish around perimeter of image. Otherwise contrast very good. Uncased quarter plate, hand-colored outdoor ambrotype of gentleman seated in horse-drawn cart, with three onlookers standing behind him. Contrast a bit faint. Perimeter of plate is a bit more cloudy/dark.
