TWO LOUIS XV STYLE CHANDELIERS 20th Century The first: A Louis XV style molded, clear and amethyst glass four-branch chandelier, of tapering form, the C- and S-scrolling brass branches issuing from the top corona and ending in four circular drip pans and cylindrical bobèches, suspending a faceted sphere below, hung overall with faceted cut-glass droplets, partially electrified: the second: A Louis XV style clear and amethyst cut-glass and bronze four-branch chandelier, the central baluster and ball stem with upper and middle corona of S-scroll branches hung with droplets and flowerheads above lower strapwork and scrolling arms similarly hung and interspersed with four candle branches with flowerhead drip pans and waisted bobèches, electrified; together with a pair of giltwood two-branch wall lights, each arched bevelled mirrored backplate mounted with acanthus-carved S-scroll arms hung with cut-glass chains and a large faceted lozenge, terminating in vasiform bobèche, electrified Chandeliers: 17in.
