Two Galle Acid Etched Cameo Glass Articles Early 20th century Comprising a lozenge-shaped box, in dark amber over pale translucent amber colored glass, decorated with berries, stems and leaves; and a trefoil-shaped bowl, in colorless and blue colored glass cased in plum, decorated with blossoms, stems and leaves. Height of box 2 inches, width 8 1/2 inches, height of bowl 2 3/4 inches. C
Box: There are a few small chips and nicks to the rim edge of the cover; there are a few very tiny fleabite size nicks to the top rim edge of the box; the interior of the box is nice and clean; box is cameo signed Galle with a star symbol Bowl: appears to be in good condition; there are areas on the rim edge that are ground and have a frosted finish, presumably by the factory, however, it is possible areas of the rim were ground down later; there are white streak lines on the interior side of the bowl that appear to be permanent and somewhat disturb the aesthetics of the interior side of the bowl; cameo signed Galle; some light superficial scratch marks to the underside, apparently to age and usage
