Two commemorative bronze medals for the Grolier Club depicting Nathaniel Hawthorne and James Russell Lowell 1892 and 1895 Comprising "Nathaniel Hawthorne" by Jean Ringel d'Illizach (French, 1847-1916), signed and dated in cast "Ringel-D'Illizach Medr MDCCCXCII" and with French ink inscription on rear: "Nathaniel Hawtorne [sic.] edite par le Grolier Club"; and "James Russell Lowell" by Charles Calverley (American, 1833-1914), signed and dated in cast "Chas. Calverley Sc. MDCCCXCV" and with French ink inscription on rear: "James Russell Lowell edite par le Grolier Club." (2). Dia: 7 in. (medals); Dia: 11 1/2 in.
