A group of nine unrelated CDVs of Maine civilians with an outdoor view of the Blaine House, Maine's Governor's Mansion, which is a splendid brick residence with decorative ironwork fence, plus a still life of the popular Roger's statue entitled Sharpshooters. Also, an uncased ninth plate ambrotype of an unknown heavily bearded civilian. Several of the civilians have names and/or notations inscribed on the verso. The most interesting view is a CDV of a seated man with mustache identified on back as Uncle Will Ulmer/ He once shot a panther with a revolver in California. A .44 Colt.
