Turner (Mary Dawson, 1774-1850). Extracts from Letters, written by Lady Hooker, Lady Palgrave, & Miss M.A. Turner, to their Parents, Transcribed by Mrs Dawson Turner, 1827-1830, three numbered booklets (nos. 1-3) bound as one, 44, 28 & 28 numbered pages respectively, armorial bookplate of Robert Harry Inglis Palgrave, partially completed contents lists at front of each book, in contemporary blue wrappers with general title-page at front, a little spotting, contemporary half roan, gilt-titled spine, heavily rubbed, oblong 8vo (16 x 20 cm) (Qty: 1) The three young authors of these extracts are the three eldest daughters of Dawson and Mary Turner: Maria Dawson Turner (1797-1872), married William Jackson Hooker; Elizabeth Turner (1799-1852), married Francis Palgrave; and Mary Anne Turner (1803-1874).
