vi, 336 pages, frontispiece, 61 black and white plates with slight offsetting on the backs of the plates, foxing on the preliminary pages, original blue cloth blind stamped with gold vignette on the upper cover, decorative gilt on the spine, edges gilt, slightly worn along the edges of the covers, and at the corners, starting to wear at the front hinge, bookbinders ticket on the back pastedown endpaper - bound by Burn, a good copy. Additional engraved title page with vignette reads: "The Rivers of France from drawings by J.M.W.Turner. London, Henry George Bohn, 1853."
