With a fore-edge painting depicting an autumn hunt scene for two-thirds of the length of the fore-edge and a portrait of James Thomson based on that of the frontispiece to the left of that. Bookplate of William Duckworth and a note it was given him be E. Leycester. Lot Amendments Condition: Binding worn at spine and edges, small stain on front cover; foxing to plates and to endpapers and the pages facing the plates with browning; but the fore-edge richly colored and well-preserved.
