The lettering in a variety of Gothic styles by an amateur but skilled hand. Several of the leaves with annotations on the rear relating to the lettering (for example: "Small letters in preceding page are from Tomb & Chapel of Henry the Seventh, Westminster Abbey"). Initialed F.C.M. at close and dated August 21, 1899. Lot Amendments Condition: Extremities rubbed, some spotting to leather; internally fine. Item number: 226170
