Title: Business Cards Author: Bengston, Billy Al and Edward Ruscha Place: [Hollywood, California] Publisher: [Heavy Industry Publications] Date: 1968 Description: Unpaginated (32pp). Illustrated with photographs. Faux wood-grain cardstock wrappers, bound with a leather thong knotted in front, with a black-and-white snapshot of the artists tipped-in with photo corners on the front cover (stamped "JAN 3 1968" on lower margin), with both artists' business cards stapled to last page, as issued (Bengston's business card is crumpled in each copy of the book as a nod to the "Dento" series of paintings he did in the 1960s). This first, and only, edition was limited to 1000 copies. Collaboration between Ruscha and Billy Al Bengston photographed by Larry Bell Front cover signed by Ruscha and initialed "B.A.B." by Bengston. Lot Amendments Condition: Light wear to covers, leather tie a bit dry, corner creased on Rusca's business card; near fine Item number: 260815
