Moore & Party; albumen photographs are 3¾x2½, unmounted, rubberstamps on versos of Stackpole & Bro. Nautical & Surveying Inst....New-York, and inked description and prices; Woodburytype is 3¾x4¾, on original mount (trimmed). With the original window-mat leaf in which the photographs were found. Uncommon outdoor tintype of a surveying party, the location tentatively identified as El Dorado County, California. A modern printed description adds, "Survey Equipment and three men standing in water ditch. Henry Veerkamp standing center holding pole, resident Gold Hill, Cal." Lot Amendments Condition: Very good condition. Item number: 183692
