Lot of 3 images, including 2 sixth plate ambrotypes, the first showing a young boy with a serious expression, his cheeks lightly tinted pink, wearing a vest and blue-tinted jacket with three rows of nine buttons, which are highlighted in gold. Housed in half case. The second ambrotype features a young lad wearing a dark jacket with buttons highlighted in gold, standing beside a table upon which a cap rests, similar in appearance to a kepi, although likely a civilian cap. The decorative tablecloth and boy's cheeks are hand colored. With paper label affixed lower right, which reads, "Patented May 27, 1856." Housed in half case with gilt border design. Accompanied by uncased quarter plate tintype of a sweet, rosy-cheeked little boy standing in a studio, his arm resting on the table beside him. The boy wears a gray jacket, plaid shirt, and short pants. Condition: Each image in very good condition. Each shows strong clarity and contrast.
