THREE FRENCH PAINTED PANELS, NOW MOUNTED AS A SCREEN WORKSHOP OF CLAUDE AUDRAN DESIGNS FOR LES DOUZE MOIS GROTESQUES, EARLY 18TH CENTURY The oil on canvas panels depicting Ceres, Minerva and Diana within delicate grotesques featuring animals and now mounted on board within gilt hinged frames, the reverse painted pale blue 95 ½ in. (242.5 cm.) high, 24 ½ in. (62 cm.) wide, each panel Provenance Galerie Georges Petit; Paris, 13 March 1922, lot 111 (sold as a set of twelve panels). Anonymous sale (The Property of a Palm Beach Collector); Sotheby's, New York, 29 March 2011, lot 149 ($40,625).
