WATTS & SON LTD LONDON No 35753 , the telescope with objective dust-cover and ray-shade, the vertical circle with enclosed silvered scale and verniers, twin magnifiers, bubble level with reflector, tangent screw fine adjustment and clamp, raised over the horizontal circle with enclosed silvered scale and verniers, twin magnifiers, bubble level, tangent screw fine adjustment and clamp, on a tripod mounting incorporating three adjustable screw feet, in a fitted mahogany carrying case with various tools, plumb bob and leather carrying strap, the inside of the lid with a label dated 20/12/44, the outside with a plaque THIS INSTRUMENT MUST ALWAYS BE ACCOMPANIED BY ITS TRIPOD WITHOUT WHICH IT IS INCOMPLETE B.1726. and War Department arrow -- 40.4cm. (15 7/8in.) wide ; a lacquered-brass clinometer stamped CLINOMETER LARGE 1916 No 2690 with War Department arrow, and SIEMENS BROTHERS & Co LTD LONDON in a shaped mahogany case, the lid stamped E.R. WATTS & SON LONDON 22973 1941 -- 27.5cm. (10 7/8in.) wide ; and a brass sighting level engraved F. Robson 45, DEAN S T Newcastle on Tyne , the telescope with bubble level, ray-shade and dust-cover to the objective, rack and pinion focusing to the eyepiece, on a tripod mounting incorporating four adjustable screw feet, in a fitted mahogany case with an attractive label in the lid ( somewhat torn ) for T.B.
