Letterpress title to each part (part 6 title reads: Hindoo Excavations in the Mountain of Ellora, near Aurungabad, in the Decan ), preface to parts one and four, engraved vignette titles, 144 aquatint plates, letterpress leaf of description for each plate, 8 engraved plans at end of part six, an extra engraved view after G.F. White laid in. (Short repaired tears in first title and second leaf, faint dampstain in corner of several leaves, occasional light spotting, some offsetting onto blank versos of letterpress.) Modern polished calf gilt, red leather spine label, gilt edges, by Bayntun-Riviere of Bath.
