THIRD REICH SA DAGGER WITH ANODIZED SCABBARD.

The blade of this early SA Dagger is maker marked for the firm "F. Dick". The blade exhibits nice factory cross graining and very light runner marks. The upper and lower cross guards are made of nickel silver, with the reverse of the lower cross guard being marked "SW" for the Sudwest. The cross guards have developed a light even patina throughout. The walnut grip features a nickel silver eagle and SA roundel. A small dent can be seen on the lower right side of the eagle. The brown anodized scabbard retains approximately 75% of it's original Zapon lacquer with light wear to anodizing on the reverse. The scabbards fittings are made of nickel silver, and have developed a lithe even patina. The hanger ring of the upper throat fitting has broken off. A personalized vertical leather hanger, made utilizing an "Assmann" marked clip, is sewn to the upper part of the scabbard. CONDITION: Overall Very Good to Excellent. D.W.
