Early war Third Reich SA dagger with a "RZM, M7/51, 1940", and a small emblem of a knight marked steel blade with visible cross graining, light to moderate runner and scattered marks, and a couple of tiny dots of freckling. Standard SA motto of "Alles fur Deutschland". Nickel-plated fittings retain 95+% of their plating, with patina, dullness, and scattered marks. Blade is tight in its fittings. Rosewood grip is excellent, with a couple of light dings and marks. SA emblem and eagle are excellent with patina and very light wear, and both are original to the grip. Steel scabbard retains 95+% of its original brown painted finish, with light scattered marks and crazing. Nickel-plated steel fittings retain approximately 95% of their finish, with light scattered marks. Original hangar is attached with light wear and patina to its "RZM, M5/71" marked clip.
