Fairchild, with best wishes and in memory of early days, Charles A. Lindbergh, 1953." Fairchild (1896-1971) was an American businessman, investor, and the founder of the Fairchild Aviation Corporation in 1925. He was inducted into the National Aviation Hall of Fame in 1979. Octavo. 8 leaves of black-and-white photographic prints. Original publisher's cloth, endpapers reproducing aquatint by Burnell Poole (a little sunned on spine and edges of boards, text on spine partially worn away).
