Noted for being the first Rolling Stones album to feature all original material, its initial effect was somewhat minimized by The Beatles Revolver and Bob Dylan's Blonde On Blonde , both which had similar release dates. The album did however contain two hits for the band, "Paint It Black" and "Ruby Tuesday."
