Title: The original Calamity Jane Robert T. Jones, Jr. wood-shafted putter that was given to Chuck Kocsis by Bobby Jones at Augusta National Golf Club Author: Kocsis, Chuck Place: Publisher: Date: 1930's Description: Putter approximately 36" long with whipping and leather grip. Includes a hand-written notarized signed letter on Kocsis stationary explaining how Kocsis obtained this putter from Bobby Jones And, the putter with an autograph note card signed by Kocsis (tied on by string) also detailing the story behind this putter. There is a chapter in the book titled Calamity Jane which also details how Kocsis got this putter. Kocsis was selected the golfer of the Century by the Michigan Golf Association. He was on the 1934 and 1935 NCAA Championship teams, he was the low individual NCAA Champion in 1936, he played on 3 Walker Cup teams in 3 different decades and was the runner-up in the 1956 U.S. Amateur. Also, includes a copy of Forever Scratch: Chuck Kocsis, an Amateur for the Ages by Vartan Kupelian, first edition, cloth, dust jacket, Ann Arbor Media Group, [2007]. Lot Amendments Condition: Light wear to putter, else very good; rest fine. Item number: 194339
