AN UNRECORDED EDITION of this little critique of Ariosto's Orlando furioso by Naples' most glamorous and accomplished female 16th-century poet, a popular work that went through at least another ten editions. No.2499 in the Hamilton Palace sale of 12 July 1883 where it is described as 'Very rare. This copy sold for £4. in Hibbert's sale.' Not in EDIT online, BMC, NUC, etc.
